Relax more when you speak, if you go full throttle all the way it gets tiresome for the ears and eyes. A fit here and there is okay but this is kinda like that 300 parody (United 300; "Why do you yell all the time?" says Xerxes in the can).
Go your own way instead, you have potential, just slowly distance yourself from the very first ones and create your own thing and unique style (to the extent that that's possible).
Wit can spoken in even tones and with a normal voice as well, it doesn't have to be all about the shouting and flailing all the time (but that kind of wit demands more and is quite hard to pull off).
