You don't seem to be alone but I don't agree..

To say you want a high quality third party game like The Conduit to beat a cheaply made tech demo is perfectly fine but The Conduit is really THAT high quality and Wii Sports Resort is far from a cheaply made tech demo. They both had a year a a half of development time, one by a self funded third party with a team of around 30 and one by one of Nintendo's in house development teams, EAD 2, with Nintendo backing it as the biggest title of the generation so far. It has a total of 12 sports, each with 3 activities, which means a 36 game roster.

Besides that, I bought Twilight Pincess alongside my purchase of the Wii at launch and loved it. I also loved Wii Sports and sunk in as many hours then. The difference is I still play Wii Sports occasionally and it has amassed a far greater amount of hours since the launch of the system. A title that I've gotten more play time out of than a game from one of my favourite gaming franchises is getting a sequel. One which I've had far more fun with with friends than many other games. One that can convince my girlfriend to buy a Wii and is playing through Super Paper Mario. The only game that was truly made for the Wii Remote and it's sequel is out soon. I'm excited.

I already have 2 WM+ units and Grand Slam Tennis. I'm not wanting the game for a WM+, I want the game for the game and I can't wait.
