Well no, PS3 alone (400$) has no game at all, so it doesn't have FPS, RPG, puzzle... If you compare Wii + Wii Fit and PS3, don't make it with 20 games on PS3, otherwise the price alone says Wii wins...

About my third reason, I think it makes sense : look at grandmothers / grandfathers : how many could have a PS3 ? Nearly none. And there are many of them who got a Wii. Same thing with mothers at home. That's what I mean.

Casual crowd, those people (grandmothers / grandfathers / mothers at home...) they never were in Sony camp like you say, they mostly started 'gaming' with the Wii. Wii Fit is not really a game for them, it's a funny tool to stay fit.

You see, both can't really be compared, that's just not the same thing, not the same crowd.

And yeah, I think 50$ matter in this recession, but that's not the main reason why Wii Fit sells more, clearly... Look at what the price cut changed for MS last september. 360 went from being outsold every week by the PS3 to gain a comfortable lead, just because of a small price cut. So of course it matters a lot.

In a more genral way, when a game like Madworld (core game) is released on Wii, it doesn't sell at all, while it would probably sell millions on PS3 / 360. I'm not sure right now both crowds mix that well (Wii crowd vs PS3/360 crowd), but that would need a new thread, it's offtopic.
