Soooo, When 10 years knocks on the door and Sony decide to do 15 what is to stop the other inferior consoles from leapfrogging the console.
It is interesting the people still cling to the thought that everyone who bought another console actually only ever really wanted a playstation. Now if the console had been sold at the same price as the competition then I think we could of seen an element of this but it did not and no way could it. These consoles will always be significantly cheaper so this dilema will always remain.
The only reason the PS3 will catch the Wii is because the Wii was not longer being sold and the Wii HD would now be hard on the heels catching the PS3.
