I will be shocked if PS3 manages to sell 9.5 million+ by the end of this year, unless the price drops, then it probably could.
If PS3 doesn't get any big guns this year, I predict about 7.5 million in sales by the end of the year, and that's counting Christmas rush. But I think it will get some big guns, so I'm thinking the sales will be more like 8.5-9 million by the end of the year (by VGChartz's tracking).
NPD PS3 numbers will drop below 100,000 at least once this year. I'll eat crow if it doesn't. It'll come close, surely :P
