If maths is to be believed, most definately.
After all, Halo 3 launched to 62.5k in Japan first week.... DQIX looks like it will have a 3000k first week, that is 48 times Halo 3.
Therefore: Dragon Quest IX will sell over 480 million copies.
Dragon Quest X has to sell more than that because X is more than IX.

If logic is to be believed, hell no. DQIX will be lucky to sell much more than 6 million, I don't think X will manage a similar feat, the Wii is not the DS.
