You have to be born a Hindu and therefore can't truly convert. I've never had a budhist or Sikh try to convert me. Its mainly Scientologists on Tottenham Court Road that try to convert me. I usually reply with a "Fuck Off!". I have had a few Christians try and fail miserably. Its mainly the Abrahamic religions that try to convert people, not so much the other ones.
