I agree with Torillian. I go to level 5's site and don't see much at all, but especially no details whatsoever indicating that they're announcing a PS3 rpg. The source for this rumour is a random blog so I will take this with a huge grain of salt.
A new Dark Cloud game would be pretty amazing though.
