Before I start I'd just like to say that I loved Forza 2 and that Forza 3 is going to be great. I'd also like to say that Turn 10 and Microsoft have brought this on themselves with their big mouths. You can't go making ridiculous claims without having substance to back it up. I'l do a simple list to show how from a standpoint of features, Forza aint the one that's 'definitive.'

GT5 VS FORZA 3

More Cars vs Less Cars

More Tracks vs Less Tracks

1080p vs 720p

60fps vs 60fps

World Rally vs No Rally

Weather System vs No Weather System

Night Racing vs No night racing

Top Gear Test Track vs No Top Gear Test Track (This is important to some UK folks)

Nascar (although prolly only 16 cars) vs No Nascar

Can be used with alot of steering wheels vs Can be used with a few steering wheels

16 cars on track vs 8 cars on track

Little car exterior customization vs Full exterior customization

Almost CGI graphics (the trailer was 'real') vs Amazing graphics

No/Little tyre deformation vs Tyre deformation

Probably little damage vs Full Damage and Car rolls

..........Doesn't look all that 'definitive' to me.

1. How do you know GT5 will have more than 100 tracks? Source please.

2. "Almost CGI graphics (the trailer was 'real') vs Amazing graphics" - Huge LOL @ believing in a pre-rendered trailer (or graphics running in 10 frames per seconde then speed up whatever technique was used for some parts). The truth is that Forza 3 beats GT5p in grafix, GT5 grafix we have no proof yet.

3. "Probably little damage (GT5) vs Full Damage and Car rolls (Forza 3)"  - Damage is almost everything, very important. Yes, I am afraid too that GT5 will only have 'damage light', which in my book definately don't qualify as the 'definitive' racing game.

Winner so far is Forza 3.
