^ most of what you list can be easily fixed, it's mostly technical problems due to a lack of resources and a few beginners mistakes from an unexperienced dev. But Reality Pump seems to be well aware of the flaws that sank the game in reviews, that's why they have a long list of improvements:
- new graphics engine and cutting edge tech and effects
- hired authors for deeper story and complex dialogue
- game balancing improved
- improved combat system
- AI improved
The budget of Two Worlds II is probably a lot bigger thanks to the huge success of the original which sold well over a million copies.
