In Bad Company, the destructible environments were like sprites, walls broke the same exact way and after a while, you can actually predict how a wall or roof will break after you shoot there.

Interesting, because from the screens of BF 1943 it looks like it's the same way, the destruction is 'false' in that buildings fall down and breaks in predictable patterns. I hate that.
But maybe the upgraded engine for Frostbyte, like u say Bad company 2 will be a lot better.
