The wii has won this gen. I don't think thats disputable.
I dispute it, in fact its looking increasingly like the wii will end in 3rd place
The chief reason are twofold
1. wii's sales have decreased the worst of all 3 consoles this year, expect the trend to continue
2. And most importantly the wii's successor will most likely ship far earlier than the xbox3,ps4. Once that happens the wii will be discontinued.
How many millions has the ps2 sold since the halting of production of the xbox+gamecube?
Its not a sprint but a marathon :)
