Sensationalism.
It's hardly a "scathing attack" and I don't think he "took aim" at the games.
The site has written the article deliberately in that fashion to rope in more viewers, at the expense of accuracy.
Reading his comments it sounds like mild criticism to me, criticism he was probably enticed into giving.
