if arcades can get me to play a game after watching a movie then they can come back, in NA going and watching movies is part of the culture. If they can make arcades part of that, then why not?

It's interesting you should say that--my local Silver City pretty much did this recently.  Originally, they just had a couple of arcade machines to pass the time until your movie started, like most other theatres.

A couple of weeks ago, though, they ditched that, expanded the building, and now they have X-Scape and they're pretty much the place that you want to go for entertainment.  In addition to the movies, they're now pretty much a mini Dave & Busters, with at least 40 new arcade machines, plenty of recent console games to play, and a restaurant/bar to top it all off.  It's the whole shebang, too--you can win tickets and get prizes, and in order to play you need to buy a card similar to D & B or SEGA City. I'm interested in watching how popular it gets over the next little while.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
