It's interesting you should say that--my local Silver City pretty much did this recently. Originally, they just had a couple of arcade machines to pass the time until your movie started, like most other theatres.
A couple of weeks ago, though, they ditched that, expanded the building, and now they have X-Scape and they're pretty much the place that you want to go for entertainment. In addition to the movies, they're now pretty much a mini Dave & Busters, with at least 40 new arcade machines, plenty of recent console games to play, and a restaurant/bar to top it all off. It's the whole shebang, too--you can win tickets and get prizes, and in order to play you need to buy a card similar to D & B or SEGA City. I'm interested in watching how popular it gets over the next little while.
