Satellite transmissions are only possible because of general relativity. So that means no TV or internet without Einstein :P
Plus he gave the first explanation of a quantum phenomena (Plank made the first observation). He also explained Brownian motion. Einstein probably contributed more in one year (1905) than any physicist has in their lifetime since.
