Why would someone naively claim that games can't be ported to the Wii? Some of my favorite Wii games are PC ports (such as World of Goo and Sam & Max Season 1). No one would argue that the Wii is more powerful than the PC, but yet those games were apparently relatively easy to port (due to their nature of gameplay etc). There are also examples of HD exclusive games being ported to the Wii, but because the high-profile ones were botched (I'm looking at you Capcom) I won't mention them :P
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
