yeah, but sales and quality aren't related. So if someone is saying "this game is going to be better" and you keep saying "well it won't sell that great" then you two are having two different conversations. So I will say again, he meant nothing about sales, you started the thing about sales.
VGC provides sales for those interested, but that doesn't mean Halo is better than Psychonauts because it sold far better. As a gamer sales just means if they get a sequel and keep their usual resources. GoW has had more than enough success to garner sequels and have gotten enough resources to keep making fantastic games, so as a gamer them getting a few million more sales won't affect me other than feeling thankful for the sake of the guys who made it. But again, that has nothing to do with which game will be better or which one should be more looked forward to which is what the person you replied to was talking to.
So how does the sales of GoW affect the idea that GoW3 will more than likely be better than Dante's Inferno?
