He doesn't sound too mature to me. First, he's discussing his relationship biz with you. Second, you're posting his biz on the Web for advice. Lastly, if he's playing video games so much that he doesn't have time for her, he's prolly not ready for a relationship.
I know several guys who lack social skills, still staying with their momz and just about as clueless as Palin. The only game they have is on LIVE or PSN. They just need a jumpoff, likely one they have to pay.
I don't suffer from that prob. I play video games - wifey's not crazy about it - but we definitely have an understanding. That's the key. If you care enough for a woman, you'll change.
I will say though - I'll gladly pass up an achievement or a PSN trophy to chill wit wifey. Gaming can't even roll wit good lovin', son.
