I agree their is scope for a price cut, however, I feel Microsoft are going to combat christmas a bit differently this year (well I'm hoping anyway)
I don't want Microsoft to cut the price, when they get down to $150 they really are going to run out of options later on in life if they ever need to get a boost in sales. Last christmas a price cut helped out, this christmas ... a slim would do the job nicely, but there has been no rumours on it, (not like the PS3 slim) but we all know how Microsoft can keep a secret.
If they can boost sales without a price cut then they're in the money $$$, then save the price cut for christmas 2010, remember the 360 has a lot of years left in it, and unlike Nintendo and Sony, I think Microsoft constantly have to work hard and deliver to get the sales they deserve, poor old Microsoft
