Pikachu, Charizard, Venusaur, Snorlax, Blastoise and Espeon. The "Red" you are referring to is based off the Pokemon Manga, however "Gary" is supposed to be "Green," but for the American version he was labeled "Blue." The original "Blue" is actually the female Trainer from FireRed/LeafGreen.
EDIT: But "Blue" (the American name for Gary in G/S/C) had Rhydon, Pidgeot, Arcanine, Exeggcutor, Allakazam, and Gyarados. See, in the Manga, "Red" borrowed Charizard from "Green" (Gary) and Blastoise from "Blue" (the female Trainer from FR/LG). It's on the Serebii.net if you ever want to read about the manga. It's AWESOME, and it's what the games should've been.
