| Euphoria14 said: Must admit I was expected a different first post because I find Fallout 3 to be far from scary. For me though it comes down to various games and various points within games. Uncharted for example got me a bit jumpy when those zombie wanna-be's showed up and I was stuck down in the basement like area. Oh man did I hate those things. Second would be Resident Evil 3. I played it when I was younger and that may be why it is on the list, but when dogs bust through windows or when I finally think I outran Nemesis, only to walk out the other door of a shop and have him leap down and be right there again. Oh man! Then I would have to say Silent Hill 2. I knew this game was going to be golden once I began playing it. The atmosphere set the tone very early and I had my first jump no more than 5 minutes in. Walking down the foggy streets of Silent Hill, seeing some creature off in the distance. Later I was like "WTF! Did I just see something over by that van?". I walk over and expect something to come out from behind the van when I circle around it but no, the little bastard scurried out from UNDERNEATH THE VAN!!! I jumped out of seat at that point and my friend began laughing at me. ![]() |
