I think the balance is right with 12, and the maps and weapons balance are about right too. Very well designed online multiplayer in my opinion...although I'm hoping that EA manage to get hold of The Grinder. If you'd have told me years ago I'd be saying that I wouldn't have believed you, but their online service on the Wii has been pretty much faultless in my experience and there are no Friend Codes to mess about with.
