Dragon Quest IX will be released in just one week, July 11th.
According to Sinobi its first shipment will exceed 2 million units.
The best-selling game of the franchise is Dragon Quest VII with 3.893.293 units.
Dragon Quest VIII sold less units than its predecessor but it's the chapter with the higher first week sales, 2.236.881 units. (The game was released on Saturday so actually it's just two days)
