Generally my experience at your price point is to buy a desktop from a manufacturer (Dell, HP, toshiba ETC). THis is because they order so many parts that they have a big discount on them and can build and sell the computer for less than you can buy it. Definatly look around and see what they offer.
If your really intent on building it check out newegg.com. They have the largest and best selection of computer parts
