No one but the hardest of the hardcore Ninty fanboys would be interested in a game with "Kid Icarus" in the title... personally I'd be much more interested in a new Pikmin, because that is a much more well known franchise today, and there's tons of potential for it on the Wii with the motion controls and pointer interface.

I don't get this.  How can you rehash Kid Icarus?  Punch Out was a rehash but there is no way you could have a rehash of Kid Icarus when such a game would automatically mean a move from 2d to 3d.  Was Prime a rehash of the old 2d Metroids? Was Ocarina of Time a rehash of the 2d Zeldas?  Was Mario 64 a rehash of the 2d Marios?  The game will effectively be a completely new and different game just with a similar name and a similar character.  But if it makes you happy I am sure they can call the game Bow Ray and name the character Charles Ray and make him wear a black and red outfit and not have wings.
