If a game cost $10 to make, and two people bought it for $50 each, the game is technically a success from your perspective. I consider success based on how many people are buying the game. What if Halo was the cheapest game ever made? If only a couple people bought it, would you consider it a success, even if it made Bungie a profit? |
While you are right, I think there is still cause for slight celebration, since it's a great game which has been stuck with dire sales predictions for quite some time. That it managed 500k after such a long time on the market, with very little marketing means that the internet should give it self a pat on the back for helping out
