Thanks for the useful thread.
Regarding point 1) I noticed when trying to add myself as owner of many older games that the add button was absent. It's due to those games not having any release date set, apparently. I'm going to research a few of them and submit them.
Maybe it should be mentioned, as some new user might be confused by the absent button?
