RPG_Fanatic's mini-reviews:

Lostwinds: I have a weakness for 2D platforming goodness. It has been a while since I last played the gme, so these impressions will be fuzzy. I enjoyed my time with the game, the music was soothing and the graphics colourful. The controls worked great and the wind powers allowed for some interesting puzzles and platforming. I would recommand this game to anyone who is looking for a fun, short platforming. Also, being able to use the wind to blow skirts was amusing.

Mega Man 9: I stil need to get around to beating this. This is definately an old school Mega man game, both in difficulty and presentation. I haven't tried any of the downloadable content, but the achievments and time attack modes add plenty of replay value. Good fo ranyone who is looking for a challenge.

Strongbad: I also have a weakness for Point and Click Adventurtes. Humour is definately big selling point for this series, and alot of the jokes will be lost if you haven't visited the Homestar runner website. The puzzles are never too complicated, and experimenting with all the items is fun, as is trying to collect everything. Good for people for are a fan of Strongbad.

Toki Tori: My personal favourite Wiiware game at the moment. The controls are simple, but the puzzles are well designed and can take alot of effort to figure out. The hard levels add extra challenge if the main game is too easy. Anyone looking for a good puzzle game should be downloading this.

Now for the games you reminded me to add to my list

Lit: Another interesting puzzle game. Finding ways to adjust light to create pathways is fun. I like how there are boss charactersd that are just like one big puzzle, though their moments can be confusing, and I died many times with no warning. I enjoyed the game, and rank it as one of the gems in the sea of Wiiware puzzle games.

Bubble Bobble Plus: I have mixed feeling about this game. On the one had, I loved Bubble bobble as a kid, and own it on the VC, and this Wiiware version mostly captures that magic, with new power-ups, items, etc. On the other hand, the game design can go from fun to extremely annoying to impossible. The way bubble hopping is hadled in this game makes it alomost impossible to bubble hop is confined spaces, which in some levels you are forced to start in. This makes completing the game extremely frustrating. With glaring flaws like this, it is hard to recommand this game, unless you are a huge bubble bobble fan.

FF IV: The after years: I haven't gotten to far in this game yet, but from what I played it is classic 16-bit RPG. It makes me feel like I downloaded a SNES RPG off the VC. Little adjustments to the FF IV system makes the experience better than before, but you should be prepared for constant random battles. Anyone who wants a to play a SNES style RPG should consider this.
