There aren't many games out there that don't use generic elements. Every game borrows from those that proceed it, and (hopefully) add something new also. I hate the direction these Wii reviews have gone. Luckily the sales have shown that Wii reviews mean little. The hardcore Wii gamers know the good games, and the casual gamers wouldn't look at the reviews regardless of their accuracy, hence this is a moot issue.
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
