Though the idea of Nintendo buying True Blood from HBO is ludicrous, they have done interesting product placement on the show. Last Season, the two main Vampires, Bill and Eric, were discussing their Wii Tiger Woods PGA golf scores. The Wii ads are there this season as well, just last week the newly made vampire girl was seducing Jason Stackhouse's best friend and he was trying to get her to play the Wii (his persuasiveness made it obvious it was paid product placement). Apparently HBO fits the Wii's market well, as product placement has been in Entourage last season (Wii Sports), and I expect that to continue this new season as well.
