God yeah platinums are annoying.... The only game that I purposefully bought that was Classic was Dirt, because all other versions were out of stock
I was rebuying Jak 1, Kingdom Hearts and Daxter from amazon marketplace (maybe eBay) and while being careful to select the normal ones, but I got platinums... so there are two black and silver stripes sticking out in my PS2 collection. I also bought a copy of GoW CoO, only to find out that it was platinum.... but they were all so cheap that it was not worth sending them back
