| DKII said: It's pretty simple. Once Wii launched, the only game Nintendo themselves made that used the motion controller well was Mario Kart, and that was a pretty small integration. They haven't beaten Wii Sports yet. (Metroid Prime 3 might count but it's not really Nintendo internal who made that.) Now WM+ has launched and only 3 games supported it at launch (all sports), with only two more announced to use it this year. Nintendo's own game didn't make launch, there was no real fuss over the launch, and Nintendo has no other games announced that use it. Right now it looks like it'll be another one-and-done like the Zapper or Wii Speak or even arguably the Balance Board - no internal Nintendo teams have really made use of these devices outside of the franchises they launched with. |
