No, the US PS3 launch model had both graphics and emotion engine, but the EU PS3 just had the emotion engine for its BC (which is not complete, but good)

Actually  EU launch model had GSX and not EE so it was like dbot said...

Oh, sorry, I got them the wrong way round, but the EU PS3's still have incomplete BC
