| BengaBenga said: People who will buy a new console in 2008 will look at the number of great games available, because that's why you buy a console. Most diehard fans all have bought their prefered console. MGS alone won't save the PS3 because 360 has 5 games of about the same quality (for example Splinter Cell will be exclusive to 360). Of course real MGS fans will buy the game but the PS2 version sold about 4M of which a million will probably have a PS3 already and MGS4 won't get 2M sold WW. Don't get me wrong, MGS is a league of its own, but people won't spend $400 to play MGS4 if they can buy a 360 with a lot more games. |

People keep sleeping on this FACT. How many people are seriously going to buy ALL the great games coming out this holiday? All those games will be available for 2008 sometimes even cheaper. I am only buying Mass Effect this holiday but slowly but surely I'll pick Guitar hero 3, Assasing creed and others game that I may not have been able to affford at the time. PS3 fanboys think the PS3 is following in the PS2 footsteps when the 360 is the one almost exactly following it with many games and following their own plan vs trying to keep up. Here is another one for you PS3 fanboys, why doesn't the 360 sell as well it should even though it has so much going for it? Because it still cost alot for many gamers. When the 360 is at the PS2 price point then you can start comparing apples with apples but until then you can't compare this gen systems with last gens because of the ridicolous high prices they launch at and how long it has taken for them to drop down in price. One thing that will always overcome fanboys is common sense and reliable data like the sales numbers listed on this site. Can fanboys denied Halo has sold 4 mil +? Can they denied it is behind the 360 and wii by more than twice as much worldwide? Don't think so lol.
