Could someone please explain this for me?

PSP 3000 is $169.99.
PSP Go is $249.99.

How is a 68% increase in price (or double for some people) if the increase is $80 which isn't even 50% of 170?

Wouldn't the price increase actually be less than a 50% increase? FAR from the exaggerations I have been seeing here.

i guess Zen divided 169.99 by 249.99 (169.99/249.99 = 0.68), which doesn't make sense at all

maybe people were too exhausted reading and trying to understand Zen's argument, didn't realize the point he brought up to support his argument has flaws.

I didn't divide anything. I quoted that figure from a very respected poster. You should follow up on that, before you accuse me of any more number manipulation. I think it was a misunderstanding on my part, and I'm sorry, but I would never intentionally manipulate numbers to fit my argument.

Sorry mate.  I thought he quoted your number.  I apologize for the misunderstanding.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo
