well people call wii games flop despite the fact that most of them need to sell only 200-250k to start making profit. heck i doubt development of de blob took more than 6-7mln$ especially that it's a new enhanced version of pc game(so they had basic graphics, mechanics, ideas etc.) - it's hard to call 700k a flop on a platform like wii. it's hard to call 600k(GTA sales) on ds a flop considering development costs of ds games and the fact that the game will be selling 6-20k a week for the next 2 years.
there was more ps360 games that flopped than wii games.

i would like to know what those ps360 fanboys think bout games like Shaun White - sold 1.06mln on ps360 and still flopped. Mirror's Edge sold 1.27mln and EA wasn't pleased much about it which means they barely made profit out of this game, but there's a lot o thing that can be improved and they have all the mechanics of the game ready so with the right PR and development sequel can be sucessful. still though it sold more than 1.2mln copies(excluding pc version). we can easily asume that average hd games have to sell 1mln to break even not to mention bigger projects like GTA4, Assassins Creed series, Killzone 2(i doubt KZ2 made a profit considering development costs and advertisment), Burnout Paradise etc.
