Wow, it looks impressive. I might just get this when it comes out around here... I'm sure it'll generate incredible sales in Japan. And just like jefforange89 said, this summer will be big for Nintendo in Japan. Between this, Wii Sports Resort and Monster Hunter 3, it's going to be Nintendomination.

Yeah. Wii Sports Resort will hit the US on July 10th.

DQ IX will take Japan by storm the very next day on July 11th.

And after all this happens, Monster Hunter 3 will move thousands of Wiis  in Japan on August 1st, 3 weeks later.

Geez, I don't know if that's good planning for Monster Hunter.  I mean, I'm sure it'll still sell fine, but they probably should have pushed their Wii debut a little farther back.  Nearly everything in Japan is gonna take a hit from Dragon Quest.

Well, it is 3 weeks later, on a different console. Odds are, DQ will be very frontloaded, and everyone will get it first week lol. But seriously, people will be buying Wiis along with MH3.

I think in the handheld market, no game should be released until a good month after DQ, but in the console market, there will be no overlap in August.
