A year to record... does that mean the game's delayed a year+?

My understanding is that Japanese voice work takes longer and is usually done in groups.  Basically, everyone has to get together and act out each scene, and often the script writers will be there to rewrite parts or use improv the actors come up with.  It's similar to the way the uncharted games have been done, if you've seen this video.

Western voice acting normally involves giving each actor the entire script and some time in the sound booth, and they basically go through and read all of their lines on their own.  One advantage is that doing things this way is a lot faster, and less expensive.  One disadvantage is that you get some occasionally incoherent acting in the dialog and group scenes.
