Really trends will match sales and coverage. So I guess that is why there is always a consistently large Ninty fan section with a growing and falling PS3 and 360 fan section. However, PS3's just hasn't gone down. Guess this will take more study.

Well I try haha.  I've actually been thinking over this quite a bit myself and I'm able to understand the flucuations in stable members and new combers based on certain sales events and VGC coverage.  I mean the lack of PC gamers is quite evident given the lack of coverage and no sales data.  I've been able to understand why Nintendo fans have had a consistent bases and why MS fans has flucuated although continuously rising as of late given late 2008 and E3 2009.  But I've never been able to understand why PS3 fans have stayed so high and still growing even after MGS4.  Do you have any answers to this?  Really it would seem it would fall off considering lower sales numbers and less coverage thereof.  It's possible that KZ2 has something to do with this as well as coverage for that was quite high.  Guess VGC is just getting a better rep with the Sony fans on the internet and they are staying.
