Putting your generalising and steriotypes aside, if the 360 was the most expensive console I would belive that it would have an older audience. Older people tend to have more disposable income.

wasnt there an article on the vgchartz main page recently... something about wealthier households choosing the wii over other consoles? hm, must be a lot of rich kids out there.
