Could be, will be competing with SMG, Halo 3 and Bioshock though and I dont know if it can beat those. In particular because SMG has such good previews.

Lets not forget about Half Life--The orange box. It right now has the highest average rating of any game this year.

 


 Orange box wont get game of the year. While its extremely good value HL2 (the main component, along with EP 1 and 2) isnt new so it cant get GotY (although it would have got some when it was released) and I dont think either portal or TF2 are likely to get it.
