I agree. Although I would say that the 360 is a significantly behind the PSP and DS when it comes to JRPG's...But I'm assuming this is just based on home consoles.

Yep, next gen consoles only, which have the major hardcore RPG franchises.

That's arguable...Dragon Quest IX and Pokemon are huge titles that are available on the DS. There's still some going to the PSP but there are a lot of remakes/ports  (Persona, Star Ocean, Disgaea) or side stories (Crisis Core).

Also, both Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology games for the PSP outsold the ToV and the first Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology outsold Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Dragon quests largest following was on the PS2 and ended there. Dragon Quest isn't a priority on the Wii, because the demographic are focused on non-hardcore games. Pokemon will be purchased by kids and still wont sell enough to be considered a threat any longer. Pokemon was huge when my generation was growing up. We're talking about the hardcore. 2 Million sold or more and growing by the core demographic.

You're taking your trolling a bit too far S.T.A.G.E., because for you to say that Dragon Quest isn't a priority is just ridiculous.

Just admit that it's not "priority" only because it's not on *your* radar due to it not coming to an HD system.  And lmao at your Pokemon comments.   You should've looked at the sales of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and Pokemon Platinum before spewing such foolishness.  Pokemon and Dragon Quest aren't going to stop selling just because you want them too.

Trolling? I never said Dragon Quest wasn't a Priroty. I said Dragon Quests height of popularity ended on the PS2. The DS is the only Nintendo vessel, which can carry Dragon Quest, besides the PS3 after FFXIII releases to pave the way for JRPG sales.

Personally, I could care less about Dragon Quest, but I understand its significance, which is why I never ruled it out on every system. I only ruled it out on the Wii. I was talking about how good Pokemons sales were on the DS and the GB & GBA, so don't think I ruled that out either. Read my responses (most of them at least on this topic) before you respond.

I concluded that the hardcore respond to games on certain systems, depending on where the companies are focusing on or by consumer expectations. The hardcore split up this gen after the PS2 era, which is why the sales aren't as strong in unison as they used to be. Also because a lot of gamers still haven't chosen a next gen system yet.
