But seriously, it seems that he's got the right idea about what exactly drives Wii sales. They seem to be driven by a small number of blockbusters, and high software sales are entirely complementary, they are the effect of high Wii sales, not the cause. The burden is on Nintendo to really push the console forward.
I think he is wrong about how much hype exists for Wii Sports Resort, though. I mean, the E3-viewing audience received it very well, and Motion Plus-powered stuff is getting a lot of attention in the main media.
