Nintendo - Biased reviews - View Post

C+, but that gets translated to 58% on metacritic somehow.

This shows one of the problems of trying to relate different scoring methods.

In school, letter grades use a generally 10-point scale (or less). So a C+ would be a high 70s -- in line with most of the lower-ended reviews of the game.

But the aggregation sites convert this using a 100-point standard where C=halfway=50.  That may or may not be the system being used by the reviewer. So something gets lost in translation.

EDIT -- Something must also be lost in translation. The review seemed incomplete. The graphic points almost sounded like "its not HD" and the single player like "it's not Modern Warfare."  I don't mind middling scores. I just like to have some thought shown.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
