Depending on your living room size you might not need to go too big.
If you want 1080p display then at least get a 42" HDTV or else anything under is hardly noticeable.
There are alot of good HDTVs but i'd trust the 3S (Sony, Sharp, Samsung). Of course thats just my opinion.
If anybody's able to post those charts of how big of a tv you need compared to your room size & the distance your eyes can see different resolutions would be helpful for ffirebrand_cloud thatd be great.
