Its not disappointed in the specific product, vitality sensor, but in Nintendo in general. If the device was accompanied by a well thought out game and shown in a demo mode, it would not be a disappointment.

OR if they would not have shown it at all and instead focused on games then the disappointment would exist either.

That, I believe, is the basis anyone picked any of the items on the poll. Not the specific item, but the company in the way it was presented or maybe should have spent time on something else. Basically, its more of a reflection on the company, not the product.

So you're saying that Nintendo can have the most epic show in years, showing off Wii Sports Resort for the masses (sequel to the most-sold game ever), along with Zelda, Metroid, and UNPRECEDENTED amounts of Mario, and the mere existence of a peripheral a gamer doesn't care about can invalidate all that?

I hate people.

I guess I didn't explain it well.

I am not disappointed in Nintendo's show for all the wonderful reasons you mentioned. However, I am disappointed that :

A) Vitality Sensor didn't have actual use demos, akin to Wii Sports when Wiimote was shown or Wii Fit when balance board was shown.

B) Some other amazing game(s) were not shown instead of this sneak peak at the sensor.
