Just because wii is selling faster doesnt mean its gonna outsell PS2. GBA was selling faster than PS2 as well but it didnt outsold it because when DS came out, GBA pretty much died. That's how Nintenndo consoles/handhelds works. When the next one comes out the last one dies. |
Not true at all, maybe in the GBA's case but that would be an exception to the rule when Nintendo has the marketleading console. NES was manufactured for 20 yrs (Sony's 10 yr plan x's 2) and the SNES for I think 14yrs, so there goes that theory..Though I also grow tired of these constant threads.

i didnt said disconected i said died. Yes NES lasted for 20 years but last game made for NES was in 1995,and i dont think NES sold 5k in 1995 while PS1 lasted till 2005 and the last game made for it was in 2005.

So basically you're saying that both the NES and PSOne lasted approximately five years after their predecessors came out. I know you were trying to paint the PSOne as the rosier of the two pictures, but if you crunch the numbers, you'll realize each had it's last game released roughy five years after their predecessor consoles arrived.
