Look at my edited numbers. I added PS1 and N64.
the N64 6 months after launch RIPPED the PS1 a new one. Nowhere near as much as the Wii vs PS3. Yet the PS1 outsold the N64 2to1 in the end.
Nintendo has always had better launches than Sony. *always*
This is one of sony's better launches VS nintendo.
