10 people own a car out of 100. 10% own a car. those ten people sell thier now used car to buy a bike (Ironically they sold it to 10 people out of the other 90) Now 10 people own a car out of 100 those 10 who sold it dont magically duplicate their car and still have it to make it 20 people.
