Sony wants to attract casual players as well, these things are perfectly in line with that. Yes, they're probably good for Sony once the price falls to a certain point. Right now they're not too much use, though, but they're still not bad. Besides, it's less and less about games than in the beginning: as long as they don't get significantly less AAA exclusives than 360 does, they're doing pretty much fine.
